Texture

It seems like all the cool photo kids are using textures to get special effects in their photos. I recently stumbled across some vague instructions and this is what happened...

I took this before photo at my parents place on a foggy morning, but it didn't really have the dramatic effect I was trying to capture.

Add a texture, and more drama...yes?
(You really just add a layer of texture overtop of your image and adjust opacity. I'm sure there can be more tweaking, but this is a fun start!)

Oh yes very much more drama. It is so good to see that you're getting some creative energy back. I've been having a lot of fun with the veggie purees. Yesterday I made cupcakes with avocado and cauliflower in the icing. I wasn't sure if they were going to go for it but they did - they just gobbled them up. And I made the spagetti pie with carrots in the base and spinach in the meat and T thought it was great (which is great because he is almost as hard as the kids to feed veggies to!) even the girls ate bits of it. And the more I read the more important vegetables seem to be for our health.

You're awesome! I haven't pureed anything yet, but we've been eating more raw veg lately. Luckily my guys are happy to eat broccoli with a bit of dip.
I'm going to have to get trying some purees.

Very cool.
You're inspiring me to get me to get my act together with the fun camera.
Or at the very least THINK about getting my act together.
We're booked for a digital photography seminar at the Camera Store on Saturday...IF I can come up with childcare.
