I made strawberry ice cream yesterday. It was delightfully not too sweet. I like a little tart in my berries. And not too rich. Just right. Fresh and summery.
My CH hated it (who hates ice cream??). For those exact same reasons. Not enough sugar or fat.
More for me!
And really, I just love the color.

What a fabulous summer treat! It sounds refreshing & decadent...supermom making icecream!:)
Somewhere I have a newspaper article of my mother & grandmothers on homemade ice cream with a bizillion different flavors...gotta try it!
There is an IGA up here that gives away 4L of ice cream with 4 filled customer cards. We don't shop there very often but we were getting our prescriptions filled there so we have lots and lots of filled customer cards. I will have nothing to do with it but the girls love it. E got a fancy ice cream dish and spoon from her teacher for a last day gift and so now we must find something for Z too. Now homemade not too sweet light strawberry ice cream is definetly something I could eat! YUM!!!
I would make this just for you and the mini bean if you were coming to visit Mrs. SweetPeas.
You too Mrs. M.
I'm going to go and attempt to sprout some lentils now. Here is an organic source of seeds that I found while browsing...http://www.sprouting.com/
have you tried any yet??
That's an awesome site - thanks! I haven't tried any yet but I plan to do some right away.
We'll have to compare notes.
