Baby Girl 11 Months

Yes, that's right. Countdown to #1 birthday. My little Babe is getting to be such a big girl.

Right now she is very good at emptying things. Closets, drawers, cupboards...anything she can reach into and pull stuff out of, she loves to do.

She has learned to clap, which is exciting and we all say 'Yaaaaayyyyy!'. And she has started doing some dancing. Some very good shoulder wiggles.
She has 8 teeth, 4 top, 4 bottom, and she is getting 2 MOLARS. Two on the top have started coming through already. And they are huge. Poor little gums.

The Babe is also starting to try standing. It's mostly just letting go of things, which doesn't always turn out well. Although she has figured out how to use that diaper padding for a softer landing.
She has also just figured out how to climb stairs. Which she does with much joy. There must be something exciting up there!
She has no clue about going down yet, and seems to think she can just sit up or lean back while on the stairs. Danger!!!!

She is such a sweet, good natured little girl. And I'm not even the only one who thinks so!
I am savoring ever moment of it before she turns into a crazy toddler.
It's the Wonderful Ones, right?!!!

wow those are some beautiful picture! Enjoy ever minute of the sweetness; Alexandra has turned into a "crazy toddler" no longer the happy to please easy going girl I once knew...now it seem like everything turns into a screaming fit.

I understand that the 'crazy toddler' stage is part of life, but I think it could be a lot shorter!
It feels like winter...you know it has to end sometime, but it just keeps dragging on...

I treasure the sweetness, especially knowing what lies ahead =)

Beautiful beautiful shots Mrs. Mittens. She's so lovely and looks so different than herself at times....amazing.
Don't you just love babyhood? It's wonderful. Even when it's challenging (teething, sleep deprived) but it somehow seems easy.
Yay for stairs and short stints of standing. They progress so quickly don't they? Soon, we'll be blogging about their first day of school!
